Defender Alan Bray has joined Ryman South side Walton & Hersham on loan as he continues his recovery. The aim is for the central-defender to get some game time in the league below and return ready for some first team action at Hampton in the near future. Alan broke his arm in two places during the league match with Met Police in September - forcing the game to be abandoned. His recovery has been quicker than anticipated and this temporary switch will speed up his sharpness. He is expected to make his debut for the Swans this Saturday, with their league match at home to Horsham. Joint manager Paul Barry confirmed: "It's great for him to get out on loan for a while and play some football. The aim is for him to come back fit, so it's a win-win situation. "The players we have added have really just been to get us back up to a good number. Obviously Dan Thompson leaving last week was a shock after speaking to him and his statement that he wasn't interested in going to Hayes & Yeading. "It was disappointing to hear from (manager) Phil Babb that Dan had agreed to join them but we move on. With the addition of Tarps and Ben we are in a stronger position squad wise."
