After the amazing achievement of donating over 1 tonne of food last season to the food bank, and after hearing from the volunteers at Richmond Foodbank how much they have missed our contributions over the last couple of months, we will again be setting up the donation point at all Saturday home league matches this season.

As always, anything you can spare will be really appreciated and help those struggling at the moment.

As we are trying to re-stock the shelves, the items we are focusing on this week are below, but as long as the donations have at least a 6 month shelf life left, everything is very much appreciated:

Tinned Meat / Tinned Fish / Tinned Fruit / Tinned Vegetables / Tinned Desserts (custard, rice pudding etc.) / Toilet Rolls / Long Life Semi Skimmed Milk / Long Life Fruit Juice / Squash / Biscuits / Dried Pasta and Rice / Cooking Sauces / Toiletries (Razors, Shaving Foam, Deodorant , Sanitary Towels, Toothpaste etc.) / Nappies (sizes 5 and 6) / Baby Food / Chocolate .

If you don’t have time to add any of the needed items to your weekly shop, we will be converting any cash that is donated this Saturday into groceries before we deliver to the food bank.

As always, a very big thank you in advance for your support for your local community.
