Happy New Year to all our amazing supporters. Now that we have all hopefully recovered from the Christmas and New Year festivities we will again start collections for our local Foodbank at the Dulwich Hamlets game on Saturday 12th January.

For information please see below message received from the Manager of the Richmond Foodbank before Christmas:

A massive thanks to all those who have supported Richmond Foodbank at the YMCA White House over the last few months. Your generosity has been quite overwhelming. The weight of the last donation is 132 kg, bringing the total to an impressive 390kg. The Christmas foods and gifts given this month will really help to brighten someones Christmas. At this time when many of us have so much and spend so much, it can be particularly hard for those who are struggling. We are making up special Christmas packages to give out to our Foodbank guests over December, so each and every donation will bless someone this Christmas.

Thank you so much for organising this. It's always great to receive your donations, because it items that we actually need.

Ideas for items are toilet rolls, tinned meat, tinned vegetables, long life fruit juice, squash, biscuits, dried pasta, cooking sauces and toiletries but basically any goods with a 6 month or more use by date would be really appreciated.

We can also accept cash contributions (if you don’t have time to shop) which we are turning into requested goods before we make the delivery to the Foodbank.

Thank you again in advance. I know we keep saying it but you are a very special set of supporters and a credit to our community.
