“"Both teams enter the game with the same goal difference, and even the exact same goals scored and conceded."”

    Preview written by Jack Cunnigham

Hampton will make the short journey to Ruislip to play Wealdstone FC on Saturday, it will be the 12th match of the Vanarama National League South season.

Both teams enter the game with the same goal difference, and even the exact same goals scored and conceded, with both teams bagging 17 and conceding 11.

Crucially, however, it is The Beavers who have two more points than the hosts sitting on 20 whilst, The Stones are on 18.

If the Beavers win and results go their way then, by the end of Saturday, the
Beavers could sit joint top of the table.

The game however, is big for Wealdstone as well as they know that a win could see them move up to third in the table.

Hampton however, over the last five matches boast the best away record in the league, scoring 10 and only conceding 3.

    Key Players

    Hampton and Richmond Borough FC
    Chris Dickson

Dickson comes into the game with an excellent record of nine goals and three assists in 13 appearances this season. Dickson has however, failed to find the net in the last two fixtures, and will, therefore, be desperate to put that right against Wealdstone on Saturday and continue his superb start to the season.

    Wealdstone FC
    Bradley Bubb

At the age of 30 Bubb is an experienced striker, who has spent all of his career in the lower leagues but has consistently scored goals wherever he has plied his trade.

This season has not been an exception as Bubb has scored four goals in eight appearances and the Hampton defence will have to keep this man quiet, if they are to take anything from the game on Saturday.

Last time the teams met at the Grosvenor Vale Stadium, Hampton ran away 3-0 winners as a hat trick from Elliot Charles ensured the Beavers took all three points.

Gary McCann will certainly be hoping for a repeat performance on Saturday at 15:00 to continue Hampton’s strong start to the season.

    Matchday Admission

    Adults £13, Concession £9 (over 65 & students with ID), Under 18s £3, Family Ticket £15 (2 x Adult + 2 U14s). (U14s FREE with an Adult)
